The LaRue County girls’ soccer team won its third straight contest Wednesday,

The Lady Hawks hit the road for an 11-1 victory at Hart County to wrap up the No. 1 seed in the 18th District Tournament. The game ended with 13:55 left.

Kylee Nunn tied her school record with seven goals, giving her 25 on the season.

Olivia Hazelwood added a hat trick and Helen Anderson also scored.

Kenzie Hornback finished with four assists. Kirsten Harper added a pair, while Lindsey Bauer and Hazelwood also had an assist.

The Lady Hawks (8-4, 3-0) visit Central Hardin (9-6) at 7 p.m. Monday.

BARDSTOWN 6, CENTRAL HARDIN 3. The Lady Bruins lost for the third time in their last four outings.

The Lady Tigers (13-3) won their 11th straight game.

Central Hardin took a 1-0 lead on a Britt-ney Music goal with an Ella Dodd assist.

Bardstown scored the next four goals.

Haylie Panter scored to cut the lead to 4-2 and Music added her second at 30:21 to make it 4-3.

The Lady Bruins (9-6) host Fort Knox (0-11-2) at 10 a.m. Saturday.

ATHERTON 3, MEADE COUNTY 0. The Lady Waves are 1-3-1 in their last five games with the home loss.

Meade County (8-4-1) visits North Bullitt (3-5-1) at 6 p.m. Monday.


TIGERS TOP HAWKS. Bardstown shot 172 to defeat LaRue County (187) at LaRue County Golf Course

Jagger McBride shot 41 to lead the Hawks. Haedyn Wolford carded a 44, Curtis Ford a 50, Jameson LaRue a 54 and Aiden Brown a 59.

AJ Shagool and Jackson Lunsford each shot 41 for the Tigers, while Will Rapier and Will Koger each shot 45.

Shelby Cooper had a 47 to lead the Lady Hawks. Mallory Williams shot 48, Carris Ford 56, Billee Peace 61 and Lydia Becker 62.

Madelyn Smith had a 48 and Sommers Smith a 63 for Bardstown.

The Hawks play in the Charger Open Saturday at Heritage Hill Golf Club.

The Lady Hawks take on Central Hardin today at the American Legion Par 3 Course.
