North Hardin senior Brady Patterson celebrated his 18th birthday in style Monday evening.
Patterson was a home run shy of the cycle to spark the fourth-seeded Trojans to a 14-1 mercy-rule rout of the fifth-seeded Fort Knox Eagles in the 17th District Baseball Tournament’s lone quarterfinal at James R. Aldridge Field.
“I’ve been seeing it well lately,” said Patterson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs. “I hope to keep that momentum going and come out tomorrow with the same type of at-bats.”
