    Elizabethtown junior Hunter Sullivan might miss the rest of the season with an injury to his right elbow.

    Sullivan, who plays shortstop and pitches, felt discomfort in his elbow after throwing a pitch against Central Hardin on April 15. He finished the sixth inning before being removed for a reliever in the 5-4 loss.

    With North Hardin’s Travis Smiley and Elizabethtown’s Cody Bridges locked into a pitcher’s duel Wednesday, it seemed as if offense would be at a premium between the 17th District rivals.

    The senior southpaws matched each other with three innings of no-hit ball, with Smiley striking out five of the first 10 hitters he faced and Bridges fanning three.
