    The Elizabethtown Area Baseball Commission 11-year-old All-Stars haven’t had much success in close games, but that seems to be turning around at the right time.

    The EABC All-Stars built a 5-1 victory and held on for a 5-3 victory over Southern Illinois champion Charleston on Saturday afternoon in the Ohio Valley Regional at the Elizabethtown Sports Park.

    The Elizabethtown Area Baseball Commission 8-year-old All-Stars began pool play in the Ohio Valley Regional with a bang Thursday.

    Eleven players had at least one hit and six had at least one RBI as EABC cruised to an 11-3 win over tournament host Newburgh (Ind.) Blue.
