Two Central Hardin players who went to the KHSAA State Tennis Tournament in doubles showcased their singles ability Saturday at the Freeman Lake Tennis Complex, sweeping the Elizabethtown Tennis Commission Youth Singles Shootout under-18 titles.

  • PREP TRACK: Loss of North's...

Area track & field coaches and athletes can breathe a sigh of relief. After three seasons of absolute domination, Kianna Gray is finally heading off to college.

  • PREP BASEBALL: Four area players...

Four area baseball players were selected to the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team.

Elizabethtown finished 17-12 after losing to North Hardin in the 17th District Tournament semifinals.

The finish wasn’t quite what Lady Panthers coach Matt Mardis had hoped for after they finished 16-12 in 2013.

  • PREP BASEBALL: It was a season...

Baseball in this area has a long and storied history, producing three state championships and a number of Major League players.

  • PREP SOFTBALL: Central Hardin...

Kelsey McGuffin didn’t become the area’s first Miss Softball winner, but the Central Hardin senior shortstop picked up some other big awards.
