    After their starters had played so well their previous two games, the Central Hardin Bruins relied on their bench to down the visiting Fort Knox Eagles on Friday night.

    With the starters barely playing the second half, the Bruins had eight reserves combine for 28 points en route to a 61-18 win to move to 4-2 in the 17th District.

    An untimely injury opened the door for Raymond Williams last season.

    Now, the North Hardin 152-pound sophomore is working to make sure that door doesn’t close.

    Williams was a backup last season, hoping to earn a starting spot for the Trojans, who would go on to win the Region 2 Tournament. He just didn’t think it he would become a starter the way he did.
