    COLUMBIA — The North Hardin Trojans kept giving the Adair County Indians extra chances and it finally ended up catching up with them.

    The Trojans made five errors, including three in the bottom of the eighth inning, which led to the homestanding Indians pulling out a 7-6 victory Friday night.

    Elizabethtown senior girls’ doubles player Mackenzie Snow was named to the KHSAA All-State Tennis Team on Saturday during the final day of the state tournament at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

    A four-time State qualifier, Snow won first-round matches in three straight state tournaments before being eliminated in the first round this year.

    In what’s become a routine occurrence, the North Hardin Lady Trojans had another dominating run during Friday’s Class 3-A, Region 2 meet at Central Hardin’s Bruin Field.

    The top-ranked Lady Trojans won 13 of the 18 events, easily running away with their ninth straight region title with 185 points.

    Lady Trojans coach John Russell and senior team manager Curtis McCoy ran with Joshua, Russell shouting words of encouragement along the way.
