    Meade County senior Spencer Hackert has been a different golfer this season from a year ago.

    Prior to this season beginning, Hackert openly talked about becoming more consistent. He consistently had good, but not great rounds. Hackert usually shot 76 or 77 outside of a hiccup at the beginning of the season and another one during the KHSAA state championships.

    Freshman forward Natalie Wolf and sophomore forward Gillian Nunn each scored to lift the visiting LaRue County Lady Hawks to a 2-0 win over Barren County on Monday.

    Senior keeper Sierra Mullins made four saves, including on a penalty kick.

    LaRue County (6-4) is 6-2 in its last eight games.

    UP NEXT: LaRue County hosts Bardstown at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
