    The host John Hardin Lady Bulldogs (10-2) became 1-of-4 teams in state history to record eight consecutive shutouts by routing the Warren East Lady Raiders, 9-0 on Saturday in their first game of their own Lady Bulldog Classic.

    Senior forward Jessica Howard and sophomore forward/midfielder Hanna Alcock each scored two goals, while sophomore defender/midfielder Olivia Greenwell and freshman midfielder Jade Howell each had a goal and an assist.

    The Elizabethtown Lady Panthers went 7-0 to win the Hilliard Lyons Lady Panther Fall Classic on Saturday.

    Elizabethtown (26-5) defeated Paducah Heath (21-11, 21-10), North Bullitt (21-17, 21-14) and Barren County (21-15, 21-14) in pool play, Meade County (21-11, 10-21, 22-20) in a crossover match and Ohio County (21-8, 21-10), Bardstown Bethlehem (13-21, 21-12, 18-7) and Meade County (21-15, 21-9) in the single-elimination tournament.

    FORT KNOX — After viewing game tapes of Class 2-A, District 4 rival Danville, first-year Fort Knox coach Brandon Combs doesn’t know what to expect from the Admirals at 7:30 tonight at Admiral Stadium.
