    BOWLING GREEN — The Central Hardin Lady Bruins went 2-3 in the 12-team Greenwood Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

    On Saturday, the Lady Bruins (20-7) lost to Independence (Thompson’s Station), Tenn., 25-16, 25-16, and beat Rowan County, 25-17, 25-22 in tournament play. The Lady Bruins split their final pool-play matches, losing to Logan County, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23 and beating Owensboro Apollo, 19-25, 25-16, 25-19.

    Central Hardin fell to Independence, 25-14, 25-21 in its first pool-play match on Friday.
