    Sophomore guard Cameron Dawson led LaRue County (7-5) with 14 points, hitting 4-of-6 from the arc, while senior forward Caleb Sheffer added 13 points and six rebounds.

    Donnie Baker finally pulled the plug on his coaching career.

    After spending 15 seasons and more than 500 games in charge of the North Hardin Trojans’ softball team, Baker retired during winter break.

    He notified assistant coaches Hayley Yourous and Bob Mahanna first, then principal Lonnie Dennis and athletic director Chris Mathews before meeting with his team.
