The Heartland Hustle, a 12U travel baseball team made up of kids from Hardin and LaRue Counties, has been selected to participate in the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament at the Cooperstown Dream Park.

The squad, which is 18-12-2 and coached by Josh Crowley, will compete against 103 teams in the three-day tournament.

The Heartland Hustle will play two games a day, Sunday through Tuesday.

Sunday they face the Pittsburgh Outlaws (8:30 a.m.) and the Tinley Park Bobcats Golf (4:30 p.m.). On Monday they meet CCYA from North Carolina (8:30 a.m.) and Florida Panthers Baseball (7 p.m.). On Tuesday they go against New York’s Upstate Warriors (11 a.m.) and Alabama’s Bulls Baseball Lybarger (4:30 p.m.).

The final three games are scheduled to be streamed on DreamParksTV.com.

The single-elimination portion of the tournament is slated to begin approximatley 30 minutes after Tuesday’s final games.

Cooperstown Dream Park plans for over 100 teams weekly throughout the summer. participating in 13 weeks national tournaments from June 1 to Aug. 30.
