Sylvester Burg of Elizabethtown, formerly of New Holstein, Wisconsin, celebrated his 101st birthday Aug. 30, 2019, with his family.
He was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. He is a retired master sergeant and a World War II veteran with 26 years of service.
