For safety and ease of drop-off, donations should be boxed or bagged in a container that will not be returned. Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center virtual remembrance ceremony, 4:30-5 p.m. June 28, streamed on Facebook Live and YouTube Live. “The Elements of Loss: Remembering Loved Ones During COVID to honor and celebrate those who died in Kentucky and Indiana during the COVID-19 pandemic. Music, a time for a reflection and a brief ceremony using the elements of fire, water, earth and air. City of Eliza­beth­town’s 2020 Founders’ Day fireworks, presented by WesBanco, 10 p.m. July 4, near the Early College and Career Center, University Drive and the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College campus. The City will staff all parking lots on the ECTC property and the parking areas on University Drive, the EC3 parking lot will be closed to the public, beginning at 7:00 pm. Parking spaces will be socially distanced. Patrons are encouraged to stay at least six feet apart from anyone not within their family or gathered group and wear masks if they feel necessary.
