STUDENT SPOTLIGHT Katelyn Edwards North Hardin High School What have you participated in at the PAC? NHHS productions of The Little Mermaid (ensemble), Shrek the Musical (Baby Bear), The Lion King Jr. (ensemble), Seussical the Musical (Gertrude), Mulan Jr. (Lin) and several show choir concerts. What did you learn from your experiences? Ever since I was a freshman and watching the leads perform, I knew that was something I wanted to strive toward. I learned to have confidence and that it’s okay to mess up. When you mess up it means you tried, and in the theatre world, effort is everything. What do you want to be when you grow up? My dream career would be a film actress, especially in musical numbers in movies. Ever since I was three years old it has always been a dream of mine. I also think being a choir teacher would be a fun career. How has the PAC helped you toward that goal? The PAC has encouraged me in many ways toward my goals. Looking out from that stage makes you feel like you can accomplish anything. The PAC inspires me to never give up on anything I put my mind to. Why is the PAC important to you? The PAC is important to me because it is a place where I have seen people come together doing what they love. Some of my favorite memories throughout high school have been made in that building.
