Radcliff police are trying to piece together today what led to a man being shot and killed Monday night.

Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross said his department received a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. regarding shots fired in a parking lot of Walmart Supercenter.

When police arrived, they found a man dead. A name for the deceased has not been released.

“It’s a homicide investigation, there’s no question about it,” Cross said. He wouldn’t disclose if the man was found inside or outside of a vehicle. “We're early in the investigation.

“It was in the parking lot in front of the store,” he said.
