According to an arrest citation, Kendall Dewayne Lincoln, 21, of Elizabethtown, shot another man eight times Monday night inside a vehicle in a parking lot in front of the Radcliff Walmart Supercenter.
Lincoln has been charged with murder and first-degree robbery in the case. He was arrested and charged Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop on Joe Prather Highway, according to Radcliff police.
The citation stated that a .45-caliber handgun was used in the shooting.
The arrest report also said after shooting the victim, Lincoln stole a handgun from the unidentified man as well as promethazine. In a recorded interview, Lincoln reportedly confessed to the crime, the citation said.
Radcliff Police Chief Jeff Cross said Lincoln could face additional charges. Lincoln was arrested at 3:32 p.m. at RPD headquarters.
RPD was called to Walmart regarding shots being fired at 10:06 p.m. Monday.
"It's still an open case and we're still investigating,'' he said.
Lincoln is being held at the Hardin County Detention Center.
