Two years after Furniture Liquidators became FFO Homes, the Louisville area stores have another owner, a new name and additional product lines to come.
Six area FFO stores, including locations in Elizabethtown and Bardstown, are being rebranded as American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance. A statement announcing the change also said shoppers who visit the FFO Home store online automatically will be redirected to the American Freight website, which is AmericanFreight.com.
A grand opening events celebrating the changes are scheduled for the weekend of March 12.
The company said customers will notice a wider selection of furniture and mattresses plus the addition of appliances.
American Freight offers same-day-delivery on all in-stock items, flexible payment options and a free layaway program. The acquisition and re-branding as American Freight will preserve local jobs that might otherwise have been lost had the FFO Home stores permanently closed, the company’s statement said
