An Elizabethtown man was arrested Friday morning and charged with sex offenses.
Elizabethtown Police Department spokesman Chris Denham said a female relative contacted police and an investigation was opened.
Christopher Lee Marshall, 21, was charged with incest, third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy.
Marshall was interviewed Friday morning at EPD and arrested by Detective Madison Kuklinski at police headquarters. Denham said Marshall admitted to the acts.
Denham said the reported offenses have “been ongoing for quite awhile.”
Incest is a Class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison, if convicted. Third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy are Class D felonies punishable by one to five years in prison, if convicted.
Marshall is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear Monday in Hardin District Court.
