Three of four men who were arrested in Ohio on robbery charges recently were connected with a robbery of a local pharmacy.
Dayemon Rashawn Tucker, 24, of West Carrolton, Ohio; Armon Ray McDaniel, 20, of Dayton, Ohio; and Seth Gary Lee Arnold, 23, of Huber Heights, Ohio, were arrested Dec. 16 after police were able to track them following a reported robbery of a CVS store in Columbus, Ohio, according to a report from WBNS in Columbus.
According to the report, police were called in reference to a robbery at the pharmacy.
At that time, a police helicopter pilot was able to identify and track the suspected vehicle on Interstate 71 as it fled, the report said.
According to police, patrol officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but it sped off, leading officers on a two-county chase. The pilot was able to trace the car during the chase and provided the vehicle’s location to officers on the ground.
A Madison County sheriff’s deputy was able to stop the vehicle using stop sticks, police said.
Although the suspects attempted to flee, police said they were quickly caught.
Police also said they found three guns, two outside the vehicle and one inside the vehicle.
The suspects are facing charges of aggravated robbery, according to the report.
The three men, along with a fourth — Sinsere Myquan Hargrove, 21, of Trotwood, Ohio — were directly indicted by a Hardin County grand jury in connection to a robbery of the CVS Pharmacy in Elizabethtown.
According to a previous news report, four men were involved in an armed robbery around 10:30 p.m. Dec. 2 of the CVS on North Dixie Highway.
Police at the time said the men forced employees and customers to give up their phones and took “various” pharmaceuticals and cash.
They fled in a dark gray SUV, police said.
According to the men’s indictments, they are charged with seven counts of first-degree robbery because the suspects were armed.
The indictments also charge the men with seven counts of kidnapping, as customers and store employees were “unlawfully restrained.”
The men were directly indicted and are not in local custody.
