A Radcliff man is facing a pair of felony charges after Radcliff police say he drove off Monday afternoon as a woman, who is several months pregnant, sat on the back of the vehicle, putting her life and the life of her child in danger.
Cyrus Owens, 26, was arrested shortly after the reported incident when a Radcliff police officer drove to the Navaho Court area and spotted a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle reportedly involved.
According to an arrest citation, police were called for a domestic dispute and Owens drove away with the woman on the back of the vehicle.
Owens told police he was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Police also found marijuana in a small bag on Owens, the citation said.
He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony punishable by one to five years in prison, if convicted.
Owens is being held in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear April 16 in Hardin District Court.
