The Vine Grove Police Department, Radcliff Police Department and Hardin County Sheriff’s Office are continuing an investigation into a robbery at Hometown Liquors in Vine Grove.

According to Vine Grove police, at 9:10 p.m. Friday, three suspects entered Hometown Liquors at 100 Vineland Center Drive, Suite 1. The suspects were armed and wearing head coverings. An unspecified amount of money, alcohol and smoking products were taken from the store.

During the robbery, a customer entered the store to make a purchase and was confronted by the suspects, authorities said. The man was assaulted, police said, and received non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Baptist Health Hardin by Hardin County EMS for medical attention.

The suspects will face first-degree robbery and second-degree assault charges when captured, Vine Grove Police Chief Kenny Mattingly said.

The three departments collectively are following up all leads, police said.
