A Radcliff man was arrested Friday night after allegedly pointing a gun at an adult female relative. According to a citation from Radcliff police, Carlus Cox, 48, also pinned the woman down and hit her.
According to police, the altercation reportedly began over an argument regarding a stolen camper trailer. Cox reportedly picked up a gun and told the woman he was going to Elizabethtown to “find his camper.”
When the woman tried to stop Cox, he allegedly pointed a gun at her. After putting the gun down, authorities said a physical altercation ensued, leaving noticeable marks on the woman.
Cox is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault. First-degree wanton endangerment is a Class D felony, punishable by one to five years in prison.
Cox is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $500 cash bond. He is expected to appear Monday morning in Hardin District Court.
