A Radclff man arrested earlier this month for sexually abusing a female relative, now faces another charge involving the same child.
Michael Kevin Lehman, 42, was arrested and charged Thursday morning with first-degree sodomy of a victim incapable of consent, which is a Class A felony punishable by 20 to 50 years in prison, or life, if convicted.
According to an arrest citation, Lehman reportedly engaged in sexual relations at least twice a week with a child from the time she was 7.
Lehman was arrested Jan. 5 and charged with first-degree sexual abuse. A$10,000 cash bond was posted and he was released Jan. 6 from the Hardin County Detention Center.
Vine Grove Police Chief Kenny Mattingly said the victim is the same person in both charges. Through the investigation, he said new information came to light in the case.
Lehman will appear today in Hardin District Court on the new charge.
