A Vine Grove man was arrested Monday morning by Vine Grove police and charged with multiple sexual offenses involving a female under the age of 12.
Terrance Clark Jr., 19, was identified as a suspect in a reported Nov. 1 incident in his home with the girl. According to an arrest citation, when Clark was questioned about a relative being a witness to the reported acts, he admitted to the charges against him.
Clark reportedly admitted in an interview to touching the minor in a sexual nature and admitted to having sexual intercourse with the girl.
He is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy, Class A felonies punishable by 20 to 50 years, or life in prison, if convicted, and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor less than 16, illegal sex act, a Class B felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
Clark is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Tuesday morning in Hardin District Court.
