Clarity Solutions still reaching for fundraising goal

Clarity Solutions last month hosted its first Clarity-LIVE virtual fundraising event.

The annual banquet typically draws more than 750 people, however, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event went virtual. From the event and donations since, the non-profit has so far raised about $120,000 — significantly lower than its $205,000 goal.

Director of Ministry Advancement Maegan Bennett said the program and giving options can be found at ClarityLive.org for at least another month and on Clarity’s Facebook page indefinitely.

Bennett also said people can continue to donate through ClarityLive.org. On that page there are instructions for text to give (text THRIVE to 833-328-9248), a link to give safely and securely online or the option to download a giving form and mail it to 116 E. Memorial Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.

“I’ve said it many times before but I believe Clarity has the best supporters in the world,” Bennett said. “We are completely funded by the generosity of people in this community who believe in fighting for life and fighting for families. We have people and churches that have supported Clarity’s ministry since 2001 and since then our number of supporters grows every year. And because our support has grown, the services we can provide and the number of people we can help has also grown. We are so incredibly thankful.

“We, 100 percent without a doubt, could not do what we’re doing without those that give of their time and finances,” she added. “Every single penny given to Clarity goes toward saving babies and strengthening families. The life change happening at Clarity daily is truly incredible and it couldn’t happen without our supporters.”

Bennett said she wanted to thank everybody in the community who contributed to the April event.

“If you promoted the event, shared it on Facebook, told your friends, tuned in, and/or gave, thank you. This event was unprecedented and we didn’t know what to expect but we owe much of the success of the virtual program to our community of supporters,” she said.

“We are hopeful that we can still reach our goal but that will require our supporters to continue to spread the word about the work being done at Clarity and the generosity of this incredible community.”

The banquet serves as the primary fundraising component for Clarity Solutions.
