The National Foundation of Women Legislators named Radcliff Councilwoman Tanya Seabrooks a 2017 Woman of Excellence.

The Elected Women of Excellence Award was created to identify women who have worked to serve their communities. The pacesetters have engendered an environment where women can serve in public office and fight for issues for which they are passionate.

The presentation took place at the NFWL Annual Conference in Minneapolis.

The award was established in 2013 as part of the foundation’s 75th anniversary celebration to honor the work and dedication of women leaders from across the country.
