A lawsuit against Hardin County government now has a hearing date.

In a Hardin Circuit Court appearance Tuesday, Judge Brent Hall set a hearing date for Aug. 20 for the lawsuit filed by Rhudes Creek Solar LLC and ibV Energy Partners LLC against Hardin Fiscal Court, the Hardin County Planning and Development Commission and Hardin County Board of Adjustments, according to County Attorney Jenny Oldham.

Oldham said the hearing was set to determine proper venue for the appeal of the county’s planning commission’s decision to deny a conditional use permit to ibV Energy.

The hearing will take place in Judge Kelly Mark Easton’s courtroom.
