The LaRue County Relay for Life will light the night Saturday as it adapts the fundraising event for the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of any type of in-person event, the luminary event is scheduled from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday on Lincoln Square in downtown Hodgenville. The public is encouraged to drive around the square to view the luminaries lit in memory of lives lost and in honor of cancer survivors.

At 9:30 p.m., the names of those recognized will be announced on the local radio station Abe 93.7.

Donations are being accepted by Relay team participants, but no collections will be made during the event Saturday. For information, call Kathy Ross at 270-234-3309.
