Amy McGrath, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, will conduct a rally by the river Sunday afternoon in Brandenburg.

The former U.S. Marine pilot is scheduled to appear at 4 p.m. Sunday at the River Front Park Gazebo. Her staff said she’s scheduled to encourage participation in early voting and take questions afterward.

Social distancing standards will be in place at the gathering, the statement said.

She is challenging Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Brad Barron of the Libertarian Party.

Voting began in Kentucky last weekend and it’s generally available Monday through Saturday across the state. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 3, the traditional election day.
