Pocketknife surveyors

A survey crew reviews measurements taken Wednesday of the giant, working knife outside Red Hill Cutlery in Radcliff. Mark Young, left, and Jason Lyle of Byrd Surveying in Clarksville, Tennessee, completed the field work. Independent confirmation of the 20-foot knife is the final requirement for its inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records, according to Josh Basham of Red Hill Cutlery. It previously was declared the world’s largest pocketknife by the World Record Academy.
