New Hope Family Life Ministries’ Hope On A Rack will host a Rummage Market this weekend.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Family Life Center, 1582 Hill St. in Radcliff, across the street from New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

The Rummage Market will have a variety of offerings including women’s and men’s clothes, coats and accessories, infant and children clothes and coats, and a variety of shoes.

Minister Ruby McMullen called Hope On A Rack “one of the best kept secrets in Hardin County.” Hope on a Rack is an outreach program of the Family Life Ministries. The Rev. L. Chris Johnson is the President of the board.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories are offered to the public at no cost.

“Our goal is to be a beacon of light to those in the community that have a need,” McMullen said.

According to McMullen, they get much of their merchandise via donations (new and gently used) and when they are unable to store it all, they have a Rummage Market.

During the market, they put several items outside for anyone to drop by and pick up. Remaining clothing after the Rummage Market are donated elsewhere.
