Local transportation planners need your input.

A survey is available to collect public opinion about the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan for Hardin and Meade counties.

The local Metropolitan Planning Organization, which is part of the Lincoln Trail Area Development District, is required by federal law to develop an updated transportation plan every five years covering a 20-year outlook. The latest update is in the early stages of development.

Survey forms are available from the Hardin County judge-executive’s office, Meade County Courthouse, Radcliff City Hall, Brandenburg City Hall, the Elizabethtown and Hardin County planning offices and public libraries in both counties. It’s also available for download at www.radcliff-elizabethtown-mpo.org.

The survey can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/L6DL93B.

The survey period is open through July 19.

Questions should be referred to the Metropolitan Planning Organization at 270-769-2393 or contact Mike Skaggs, transportation planner, at mskaggs@ltadd.org.
