An exhibit opening next week featuring artwork about the Holocaust now will be open on some weekends.

“Never Again: Murals of the Holocaust,” is an exhibit featuring 21 murals that were designed by students in a Nazi Germany and the Holocaust class as part of Western Kentucky University’s Summer Program for Verbally and Mathematically Precocious Youth over the course of more than 20 years.

The free exhibit is on display from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday Feb. 25 to April 5 as well as from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. two Saturdays, March 9 and 23. The exhibit is in Morrison Gallery in the James S. Owen Building on Elizabethtown Community and Technical College’s campus.

The two Saturday dates were added to accommodate more schedules for those interested in viewing the exhibit, said Gina Clear of the Central Kentucky Community Foundation, which helped bring the exhibit to Elizabethtown through a fund.
