The Lincoln Trail District Health Department announced Thursday afternoon 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hardin County.

Hardin County now has 724 confirmed cases of which 566 people have recovered from their symptoms, the health district reports.

Eleven people are hospitalized and 140 people are under in-home isolation. Seven people from Hardin County have died from the virus, the district said.

There are three new cases in LaRue County and four in Meade County.
