The Lincoln Trail District Health Department announced Monday afternoon 40 new COVID-19 cases in Hardin County and the county’s 14th death.

According to Gov. Andy Beshear’s website, the 14th death was an 80-year-old man announced on Saturday.

Hardin County’s total cases are at 1,475 with 10 people hospitalized, 154 people under in-home isolation and 1,297 people have recovered, according to health department data.

There are four new cases in LaRue County and six in Meade County, the health district says.
