An undercover investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronics Crime Branch has led to the arrest of an Elizabethtown man on 21 felony charges related to child pornography.

Joshua Lee Wagner, 20, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his residence and released Wednesday afternoon from the Hardin County Detention Center on a partially secured $10,000 bond.

He is charged with 19 counts of possessing/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and two counts of first offense distribution of matter portraying sexual performance.

The charges are Class D felonies punishable by one to five years in prison, if convicted.

According to an arrest citation, during an undercover online Internet Against Children investigation, it was discovered Wagner reportedly had uploaded two videos of child sexual abuse material online. The investigation began Jan. 12, the citation said.

The investigation also was found Wagner possessed and distributed two videos of child sexual abuse material online. During an interview with authorities Tuesday, according to the citation, Wagner admitted to having the videos and distributing them.

Authorities also found 17 other images and videos on Wagner’s cellphone.

Wagner is scheduled to appear June 12 in Hardin District Court.
