The Lincoln Trail District Health Department announced Friday afternoon 32 new positive COVID-19 cases and a 16th death in the county related to the virus.

According to Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, the latest victim was a 64-year-old woman.

Hardin County now has had 1,833 total cases, according to the health district.

Currently, 11 people are hospitalized and 249 people are under in-home isolation. The district says 1,557 have recovered from symptoms.

In LaRue County, there are two new cases Friday and nine reported in Meade County.
