Hardin County added 38 new COVID-19 cases since Friday afternoon, the Lincoln Trail District Health Department announced Monday afternoon.

Of the now confirmed 467 cases in the county since mid-March, 334 people have recovered and 120 others currently are under in-home isolation.

Six residents are hospitalized, the district says, and seven people have died.

Hardin Memorial Health, as of Monday morning, has administered 13,172 COVID-19 tests with 485 positive results. Some of the positive results were people from other counties, hospital officials say.

LaRue County now has 54 confirmed cases and Meade County has 72.
