An Oklahoma man died Thursday in a five-vehicle collision on Ky. 210 that closed the highway for hours.
A 2006 Freightliner semi traveling north on Ky. 210 overturned around 1 p.m. Thursday seven miles west of Campbellsville, according to Kentucky State Police. The semi collided with a box truck and three passenger vehicles in the process, police said.
Brandon Heath, 27, of Harrah, Oklahoma, who was driving a 2015 Chevrolet, was killed in the collision. He died at the scene, the Taylor County Coroner’s Office said.
KSP said the other four drivers all were taken to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Donald Slusher, 48, of Flat Lick, was identified as the driver of the overturned semi. No charges were filed.
The other injured motorists were Oscar Miller, 58, of Louisville, Tamara Knowles, 25, of Greensburg and Clark Marshall, 52, of Greensburg.
The highway was blocked for hours while police investigated and debris was being cleared.
