Numerous retail businesses around Hardin County have closed their doors, posting signs listing their temporary closures, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Elizabethtown especially has been hit hard with clothing stores such as Kohl's, Belk and JC Penney with window signage announcing their closures.

Among the others stores in Elizabethtown that closed are Bed, Bath and Beyond, Shoe Carnival, Kirkland's, Ross, Gap and Old Navy.

Health officials are urging social distancing of six feet from person-to-person to help halt the spread of the virus.
