COVID-19 danger is far from over

Firstly, I would like to state that even though businesses already are operating at 33 percent capacity, they should close again, except for essential businesses of course. I say this because, even though the COVID-19 virus is killed in heat and sunlight, the air-conditioned environment in most commercial businesses gives the virus a safe place to multiply away from the heat and sunlight.

The opening of businesses also gives people a false sense of security that this might be over, but they are wrong for thinking that. Look at history, the second wave of the flu epidemic during the early 20th century was far worse than the first.

I believe there will be a second wave of COVID-19 and it will be just as bad or likely worse.

Continue to warn people about going out in public without masks and not practicing social distancing. I understand the economy is suffering greatly, but it isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Thousands more will die regardless, but it may be less if people are properly informed about the risks of returning to their normal schedule this early. People need to know that this isn’t over.
