Central Hardin girls’ basketball picked up its second win of the season Wednesday evening in Bowling Green.

Taking on South Warren, the Lady Bruins returned home with a 64-60 victory over the Lady Spartans.

Monica Lindsey led the team in scoring with 22 points. Alyssa Lindsey and Kaniya Kendricks followed with 10 points each. Paige Gray brought in seven points. Kathryn Gray and Mallory Reed both found four points. Dianna Hilbert added three points. Kaiden Kendricks and Bayley Bell scored two points each.

Monica Lindsey and Kaniya Kendricks led the team in rebounds with seven each out of 35 total.

Central Hardin (2-2) hosts Elizabethtown tonight. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.


JOHN HARDIN BEATS NORTH, BARDSTOWN. The Bulldogs returned home from Radcliff with a pair of wins Wednesday evening. Taking on host North Hardin and Bardstown, John Hardin defeated the Trojans 36-27 and the Tigers 42-36.

John Hardin returns to the mat Saturday to take on Taylor County.

LARUE STAYS UNDEFEATED. The Hawks moved to 4-0 on the season Wednesday evening. Traveling to Nelson County, LaRue County defeated the host Cardinals, as well as Spencer County.

The Hawks head to Louisville Saturday for duals action at St. Xavier.
