Third-ranked Elizabethtown remained unbeaten on the season with a 66-44 win Tuesday night at Hart County in girls’ high school basketball.

Eighth-grader Leah Macy posted her 10th double-double in 11 games this season with 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Lady Panthers improved to 11-0 on the year. Sophomore Sarah Clark added 12 points, while sophomore Brooklyn Cann chipped in nine points and sophomore Kenzie Franklin eight.

Elizabethtown led Hart County, 30-19 at halftime and then out­scored the Lady Raid­ers in the third quarter, 19-7.

The Lady Panthers shot 49 percent from the field.

Elizabethtown hosts Mercer County Feb. 9.

CENTRAL HARDIN 47, WARREN CENTRAL 44. The Lady Bruins went on the road Tuesday night to earn their fourth straight win.

No game information was provided.

Central Hardin plays Friday at Green County.

NELSON COUNTY 57, LARUE COUNTY 50. The Lady Hawks lost their fourth straight game with a home loss Tuesday night to the Lady Cardinals.

The Lady Hawks play at Taylor County Friday night.

LaRue County also fell 47-37 to Grayson County Monday night. Senior Emma Moore led the way with 15 points for the Lady Hawks.


JOHN HARDIN 77, BARDSTOWN 70. The visiting Bulldogs avenged last year’s 5th Region Tournament semifinal loss to Bardstown with a 77-70 win Tuesday night.

Senior Anthony Bowen led the way for John Hardin with 20 points, while senior Darius Williams added 15 points, sophomore Jake Owens 14 and junior Jalen Tyus 13.

John Hardin, 5-1, plays Friday at home against North Hardin.

LARUE COUNTY 64, NELSON COUNTY 49. Returning to play for the first time since Jan. 19, host LaRue County knocked off Nelson County in Hodgenville Tuesday night.

The win improved LaRue County to 5-0.

Freshman Cutter Boley fired in 18 points and senior Jeremiah Belton added 10 for LaRue County.

The Hawks host Christian Educational Consortium Thursday night.

GRAYSON COUNTY 66, MEADE COUNTY 55 in OT. Meade County fell to 5-2 on the season with a 3rd Region showdown loss in overtime Tuesday night at Grayson County.

Junior Keegan Sharp had 39 points for the Cougars.

Meade County hosts CAL Friday night.
