Juniors Queshaun Davis scored 10 points and junior Kerron Blizzard knocked in two 3-pointers and had nine points as visiting North Hardin won at Louisville Collegiate, 54-50, Monday night in boys’ high school basketball.

Freshman Shaun Boykins and junior Elijah Reeves added seven points each and freshman Ayden Evans added five points in the win.

The game was tight throughout with Collegiate leading at halftime, 26-25. North opened a 39-36 lead entering the final period.

North plays at Spencer County (3-0) tonight at 7:30.

LARUE CO. 75, HIGH­LANDS LATIN 38. Ten players scored, including four in double figures Monday night as the host Hawks rolled to an easy win in their season opener.

LaRue County was 7-of-14 on 3-pointers with sophomore Carson Childress hitting three. He finished with 11 points.

Junior Kellen Bowen led the way with 12 points and seven rebounds for the Hawks. Senior Jeremiah Belton and freshman Cutter Boley added 11 points apiece.

LaRue County finished with 18 assists on 32 made baskets with Childress dishing out four assists and Belton three.

The Hawks opened a 48-23 lead at halftime.

LaRue County visits Washington County (2-0) tonight. Gametime is 7:30 p.m.
