Cooper Campbell, Seth Yates and Bailey Moore drove in two runs apiece Tuesday night as host North Hardin rolled past Fort Knox, 15-0, in high school baseball play.

The Trojans, 5-8 overall and 1-1 in 17th District play, scored seven runs in the first inning and won in three innings.

Trace Thomas scored three runs for the Trojans. Zac Henderson added a solo home run for North.

Fort Knox, 2-4 overall and 0-3 in district play, was held to two singles.

Reece Dowdell worked three innings on the mound for North Hardin and had six strikeouts.

North Hardin will host Taylor County tonight while the Eagles’ next game is Thursday at Elizabethtown.


CENTRAL 21, GREEN COUNTY 8. Madyson Jones and Emma Case knocked in five runs apiece as fifth-ranked Central Hardin won in five innings at Green County Tuesday night.

Both players blasted home runs, while teammates Cassie Muse and Trista Colosanti also homered as Central Hardin improved to 12-3.

Central Hardin pounded out 17 hits with seven players having at least two hits each.

Colosanti went the distance in the pitching circle and allowed six hits.

Central Hardin visits North Hardin Thursday.

MEADE COUNTY 13, CAL 8. Aubrey Hardesty had four hits including a triple as Meade County won at Christian Academy of Louisville Tuesday night.

Rylee Webb and Annabelle Knoop had three hits each. Knoop also drove in four runs.

Meade County, 10-5, hosts Breckinridge County Thursday.

NORTH HARDIN 15, GRAYSON COUNTY 4. The visiting Lady Trojans snapped a two-game losing streak Tuesday night with a six-inning win in Leitchfield.

North Hardin, 5-7, hosts Central Hardin on Thursday in a 17th District contest.
