Stuart Pepper Middle School in Brandenburg and T.K. Stone Middle School in Elizabethtown captured the Middle School Athletic Conference girls’ basketball titles Tuesday night at North Hardin High School.

Both schools had the finalists in the seventh and eighth-grade tournaments.

T.K. STONE 33, STUART PEPPER 32. Leah Macy scored 13 points and Emerson Gregory chipped in eight as T.K. Stone notched the seventh-grade title in overtime.

T.K. Stone trailed at halftime and after the third period.

Jessica Smallwood had six points for T.K., while Harper Gregory and Kristen Ritchie added three points each.

For Stuart Pepper, Peyton Bradley led all scorers with 15 points and Kaylee Rider added 10. Piper Scott netted five points and Kaitlyn Henley had two.

STUART PEPPER 49, T.K. STONE 25. Stuart Pepper had three players scored in double figures to win the eighth-grade championship.

Bradley had 15 points to lead all scorers.

Paige Medley and Annabelle Babb had 11 points each with Reagan Kupper scoring six points, Miranda French four and Savannah Triplett two.

For T.K., Smallwood had 10 points, Macy nine and Taylor Broughton, Brooklyn Braun and Eva Ramsey added two points apiece.
